Canes Lose Starting Linebacker For Year
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – The Miami Hurricanes defense struggled Saturday to put away the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. Monday, the defense took another shot.
Hurricanes head coach Al Golden said that linebacker Ramon Buchanan will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed injury.
Buchanan did suffer a right-knee injury during Saturday's game, but it's not known if that's the injury that forced Buchanan to have surgery.
Buchanan had started all four games for the Canes and had 18 total tackles and blocked a field goal against Kansas State.
