It's literally a drive like no other in the United States. When you head south on the Overseas Highway, you'll literally see the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. The crystal clear waters eventually give way to Key West where you can check out the home of Ernest Hemingway or have your picture taken at the southernmost point in the United States, only 90 miles to Cuba.

Ft. Lauderdale Beach

Ft. Lauderdale, FL

The beach became world famous for the partying and debauchery that went along with Spring Break each year. While no longer a top Spring Break destination, Fort Lauderdale Beach still offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and miles of white sandy beaches. It's perfect for a nice leisurely walk, except in the dead of Summer, when all of South Florida turns into a virtual sauna.
