Bal Harbour Boil Water Notice Lifted

BAL HARBOUR (CBSMiami.com) --  A boil water notice for the village of Bal Harbour was lifted  Sunday after it was imposed earlier this week when a  water main broke.

The water system has now been tested and has been clear of contaminants for two consecutive days which indicated the water may be consumed without boiling.

The water main broke around 10 a.m.  on November 7th in the  10200 block of Collins Avenue.

Residents had been asked not drink from the tap  until after they boiled the water or stock up on bottled water.
