Back To School Sales Tax Holiday Next Weekend
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Mark your calendars. Next weekend shoppers will be able to buy back to school supplies tax free.
Florida sales tax holiday begins Friday, Aug. 3 and runs through Sunday, Aug. 5.
During the holiday shoppers would not have to pay state or local sales taxes on clothing worth $75 or less or pay taxes on school supplies worth $15 or less. Books are not exempt from tax during the three day period.
