High pressure combined with an off-shore flow will bring temperatures well into the 90s for many locations. There could be record breakers Friday and Saturday.
Warm, dry and sunny conditions expected Thursday with possible record-breaking heat to continue over the weekend.
The L.A. Marathon will start 30 minutes earlier this weekend because the forecast is calling for record high temperatures.
Expect a stray sprinkle through the middle of the day here in the Los Angeles area with clearing later in the evening.
