An off-shore flow and Santa Ana wind is in place and this increasing the fire danger. There is a Red Flag Warning for the Mountains of Los Angeles and Ventura County.
Look for partly cloudy skies today and temperatures still on the cool side...below average.
A cold front passing today will keep us cool. We'll see partial clearing this afternoon. There is a chance for rain to the north. Warming and drying for the weekend.
Cooler weather today and tomorrow with some more marine layer. Temperatures will be warmer for the weekend.
The cooling trend continues on this Tuesday and coastal communities are dealing with some dense fog.
Gusty winds throughout the morning. The worst of the wind affecting mountains and foothill communities as well as the Santa Clarita Valley. Warmer temperatures through the weekend into the mid to upper 80s.
Gusty winds on tap for the next two days. A red flag warning and wind warnings kick in tonight and last through mid-day Saturday.
A cold front is dragging through the Southland this morning...however it is not translating into any real wet weather.
The low clouds have over taken the area with some patchy drizzle this morning. A trailing cold front will drag through the area later today and give us a slight chance at a light shower.
We can expect some cooler weather today by a couple of degrees. There will be plenty of cumulus clouds leftover from the storm and there may be a passing stray shower.
A chance at widely scattered showers today. Unsettled as the cut-off low moves south. It will also be cool. Warmer weather for the weekend and above average by next week.

Still quite hot today with temperatures into the 100s inland and upper 80s to 90 in the coastal plain. A cooling trend is on tap for the rest of the week. Expect below average temps by Saturday and Sunday.
An off-shore flow and high pressure will mean temperatures could reach the 90s and 100 for the coastal plan and the valleys as well.
Expect a similar day to yesterday. Mild conditions with partly cloudy skies. Things warm up into the weekend...with very warm and dry conditions Sunday through Tuesday.
The on-shore flow is still the dominant feature this morning...we will some patchy low clouds in the coastal plain. Daytime highs will still be running a couple of degrees below average.
A little cooler than Monday...some more marine layer. The mild weather continues tomorrow before things warm up into the weekend.
Not quite as warm today as a cut-off low moves into the Great Basin, encouraging an on-shore flow and cooler temperatures Tuesday.
We've got one more warm day before things cool down for the weekend. Look for more low clouds Saturday and Sunday and temperatures dropping down to average or just a little below average for this time of year.
