The family of Halyna Hutchins -- a cinematographer who was shot and killed on a New Mexico movie set last year -- has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against actor Alec Baldwin and several others.
Last month, the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office obtained a warrant to search Baldwin's phone.
According to the warrant obtained by CBSLA, sheriff's investigators seek to look at Baldwin's texts, emails, photos, movies, browser history and contacts.
Both Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, deleted their accounts sometime Sunday.
"Well the trigger wasn't pulled, I didn't pull the trigger."
A script supervisor who was standing next to cinematographer Halyna Hutchins when she was fatally shot with a prop weapon fired by actor Alec Baldwin on the set of the film "Rust" sued the movie's producers Wednesday, alleging widespread negligence and claiming the scene Baldwin was rehearsing never called for him to fire the weapon.
The 60-year-old actor appeared on comedian Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast Monday where he called the tragedy "insane" and "infuriating."
"We're gonna switch over to rubber guns, and we're gonna take care of it in post, we're not gonna worry about the dollars, we won't worry about what it costs."
