Police Detain DUI Suspect In Winnetka Neighborhood
WINNETKA (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday detained a man suspected of driving under the influence in a residential neighborhood.
Shortly before 4:30 a.m., officers followed the suspect to Mason and Hart streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the suspect abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot in the area.
A preliminary investigation revealed the man was not involved in a crash.
Police set up a perimeter in the neighborhood and subsequently detained the suspect at the scene.
