Truck appears to be abandoned in downtown LA after high-speed pursuit

An alleged stolen truck appears to be abandoned in downtown Los Angeles after a high-speed pursuit took several turns.

It began around 1 p.m., when law enforcement started following a suspected stolen vehicle in Whittier.

A red truck that police were following stopped near Alameda and the 10 Freeway. Two suspects got out of the truck and ran. One of the suspects jumped into a white truck as it drove by. Police then pulled over the white truck, and the driver ran off. The passenger took over driving and continued along the roadway.

The driver of the white pickup truck moved along at high speeds along Sunset Boulevard near Dodger Stadium, and at times was on the wrong side of the road. 

Law enforcement could not be seen close to the truck as the driver continued driving erratically through the downtown area.

The truck was apparently abandoned on Olive Street just north of 4th Street in downtown LA.
