Person stabbed inside elevator at South LA Metro station
A woman was stabbed inside an elevator at a Metro station in South Los Angeles Monday night.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the stabbing happened at the Green Line Metro station at the intersection of South Vermont Avenue and the 105 Freeway and deputies responded at about 9 p.m. The victim was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition.
Investigators did not locate the male suspect. He was last seen wearing all black and fled on a westbound train towards Hawthorne.
