1 person dead after multi-vehicle crash in Diamond Bar

One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Diamond Bar Tuesday morning.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received calls about the crash around 12:18 a.m. near West Temple Avenue and West Mission Boulevard. The Pomona Police Department also responded to the scene.

Crews from the LA County Fire Department pronounced one person dead at the scene.

The deputies said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. Another person was transported to a local hospital but their condition remains unknown.

It is unclear what led up to the crash. The sheriff's department will be leading the investigation.
