Michael Tubbs Shares Documentary Film 'True Son'
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Michael Tubbs stopped by KCAL9 Sunday to share information about the documentary film "True Son".
The film followed Tubbs throughout his campaign for a seat on the Stockton city council in a year of record homicides and impending bankruptcy.
Tubbs returned home and rallied hundreds of young Stockton residents between the ages of 14 to 21-years-old to join his movement to reinvent the area.
The film premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival.
