Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 3)
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — We will wake up to low clouds once again here in the Southland.
There are still some patchy drizzle spots, but not has many as we've had over the past few days.
We should get some more clearing this afternoon, which will help our temperatures pop up a couple of degrees. We are still hovering well below average for this time of year, though.
A trough will pass through the West Coast Friday before stalling out just to the east of us, which will help us warm up next week. We should start to get a little off-shore flow, and now, it looks like the pattern may be changing up for next week.
A ridge of high pressure moving in should help us push temperatures into the upper 70s for the basin and 80s for the valleys. The warm up should really kick in Monday through Friday next week.
Beaches -mid 60s
Basin - mid to upper 60s
Valleys - low 70s
Deserts -upper 70s
Mountains - upper 60s
