Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 17)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Low clouds and drizzle are on tap Friday morning.

The marine layer is running at 3,500' so most of the metro areas in Los Angeles are shrouded by low clouds. In fact, some clouds may make it all the way to the high desert.

We will get partial clearing by the afternoon, but many areas are going to be stuck in the clouds all day long.

Daytime highs will obviously be below average Friday and the trough moves only slightly, so look for a cool Saturday as well.

It looks like another impulse moves through the area on Sunday, so Father's Day may end up being a cloudy day as well.

Some warmer weather still in our future by the middle of next week.

Coastal - mid 60s
Basin - upper 60s
Valleys -low 70s
Deserts - low 80s
Mountains - mid 70s
