Fullerton Man, 22, Pleads Guilty To Exposing Himself To Several Girls

FULLERTON (CBS) —   A 22-year-old man who pleaded guilty to exposing himself to several girls outside schools in Fullerton and Buena Park will be sentenced next month.

Ruben Rodriguez, 22, pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony charges of an attempted lewd act on a child under 14 years old and luring a child with the intent to commit a specified crime. He also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of annoying a child and indecent exposure, according to court records.

When Rodriguez was arrested last fall, Fullerton police alleged he exposed himself to seven girls in Fullerton and Buena Park. He faced 22 misdemeanor and felony charges, but all but four were dismissed, according to court records.

Deputy District Attorney Mark Birney, who struck the plea bargain with Rodriguez, did not respond to messages for comment today.

Rodriguez's attorney Roland Rubalcava declined to comment until sentencing.
