Who’s New at the Zoo? Baby Flamingo Chicks, That’s Who!

It’s an exciting time here at the zoo as eggs from our Caribbean flamingo flock have begun to hatch. These chicks are born white and gradually turn pink as they grow, thanks to the carotenoid pigments found in their food.
