Martial Arts Academy Gives Back
Prado Martial Arts Academy in Fairfield is holding a tournament fundraiser by teaming up with California Clothing Recyclers. They raise money so the kids in the gym can all participate in tournaments together and the parents do not have to pay. They are also giving back to the community with free self-defense classes for women.

Wounded Vets Golf
Wounded veterans of war will be golfing today and raising money to send other wounded vets to Scotland to golf for free. They say it does wonders for these guys who are trying to adjust to their new injury and start their lives.

Folsom Veterans Day Parade
Folsom's 14th Annual Veterans Day Parade features 120 entries, including high school marching bands; Ben Ali Shriner go-carts and clown cars; vintage cars; veterans groups and ROTC members; Miss Folsom and Miss Sacramento; and floats galore. The theme is "Land of the Free, Because of the Brave".
The 1.5 mile parade route begins at 9 a.m. at the Target/Home Goods shopping center on E. Bidwell Street and ends at the Folsom Community Center on Natoma Street.
Free Health Care for Vets
Local veterans in need will receive free health care, including comprehensive eye exams and new glasses, at the Sacramento region's only Veterans Day health event. Dozens of homeless men and women who lack access to care will receive the personalized services provided by VSP Mobile Eyes® and the Sacramento Community Veterans Alliance (SCVA), at the 5th Annual Veterans Day Health Fair.

It's Veterans Day. Vets can get free portraits with their pets at the shelter with an awesome, local, pet photographer. The event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at noon.

Good Day is sending a viewer and guest to the world premiere of "Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part One" in Hollywood at the Kodak Theater!
