Red Bull Flugtag Long Beach
Nothing SCREAMS Good Day like the Red Bull Flugtag and today we're hooking up with the ONLY Sacramento area and one of only two Northern California teams competing!! They've spent months building their "homemade flying machine" or "craft" and on Saturday we'll see far it can fly into the Long Beach harbor!! The local team is based in Newcastle (where they built their craft) and go by the clever name "The Uppers." Their flying machine is a replica of the house from the animated film "Up" and comes complete with the balloons!!!

Today she goes head-to-head with the Oktoberfest Burgermeister and one of the Good Day players in a non-alcoholic beer chugging competition!

Free Community Health Fair
River City High School in West Sacramento is having a three-day health fair for students to learn about their sleeping habits, diet, genetics, body composition, and more. A community health fair at River City High is open to the public on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, 5:30p-8:30p. Flu shots will be available that evening provided by Yolo County Health Department.
