The Sacramento Picture!
The Sacramento Picture! showcases historic film clips from the city's archives, which were recently digitized through a California Audiovisual Preservation Program grant. Most video clips have not been seen since they were originally captured. The selections consist of dramatic news footage, rare home movies, vintage educational programs, and kitschy promotional films that capture Sacramento during the 20th century. Film highlights include a 1920 Sacramento Senators baseball game; the city's commercial and architectural core -- J and K streets -- documented during several eras; the redevelopment of the West End in the 1950s and 1960s; and shots of parades, river recreation, school activities, and man-on-the-street interviews.

Manly Minute: Never Ask This...
We've all been in relationships where, at times, we've felt more like a mom or a secretary than a significant other. While we understand that healthy relationships require compromises, we've compiled a list of favors that good boyfriends know better than to consistently request. If you're constantly taking on any of the items on this list (especially with any hint of resentment), it's time to get your guy to lend a hand.
