Recipe From Home: Vanilla Mousse With Berries

Tawny Yambrovich shares her recipe for Vanilla Mousse with Marinated In-Season Berries. Yum!!

Ingredients:
1 six-serving package vanilla-flavored instant pudding
3 cups milk
1 pint heavy whipping cream
2 Tbsp confectioner's sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups fresh in-season berries, sliced if needed (e.g. strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc.)
1 cup Creme de Cassis, Chambord, or other berry-flavored liqueur

Instructions:

Add liqueur to berries and refrigerate.

Prepare pudding according to package directions. In a separate large bowl, add confectioner's sugar and vanilla extract to whipping cream and whip until peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into prepared pudding.

To serve: layer berries and mousse in serving dishes.
