Mommies Meeting Mommies
One of our PBP members, Ashley Seppala, recently emailed me about her new mommy group that just launched in February. It's a free, local, non-profit called SacramentoMommies.com.The website offers a simple way to connect with local moms for friendship, support and fun. Members meet on our private discussion forums to share information on everything from where to get the best haircut to tips on transitioning to a "big kid" bed.
Each month, they also offer many face-to-face events for members, their children and their families. These pictures are form their last play date.

SacramentoMommies.com is part of The Mommies Network (www.themommiesnetowrk.org). Founded in 2005, The Mommies Network is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping moms find support and friendship in their local community. Through local volunteer teams, The Mommies Network currently operates 99 Mommies communities in 28 states, providing over 31,000 moms a free and easy way to connect with other local parents for friendship, support, advice and fun. Each community has extensive online forums, private chat rooms, and face-to-face events for both adults and their kids planned each week.
SacramentoMommies.com hopes to be able to reach mothers still out there who are alone, who don't know about the network and are praying right now for friends who understand. We welcome ALL mothers whether you are trying to conceive, expecting, have an infant, toddler, preschool, school aged, teenager, are a stay at home mom, work at home mom or, working mom.
Their next event will be April 1st at Orangevale Community Park at 10:30, they're going to let the kids play and do a little Easter craft.
Ashley, thanks for spreading the word!
