Have You Seen The 'Rapunzel' Family?

This family has been growing out their hair their whole lives, and now combined they have more than 13 feet of it, Barcroft TV reports. Forty-three-year-old mom Tere Lynn Svetlecich Russell has one of the longest pony tails in America at six feet long, and now her daughters are growing out their own incredible locks. In fact, the family receives annual awards at "longest pony tail" contests at the Illinois state fair.

In spite of regularly getting her hair caught in the vacuum cleaner and slamming it in car doors, Terre Lynn has no plans to get a haircut. Her husband Chip loves the look, and the hair can be credited for lassoing his heart in the first place. Washing these lovely manes takes one-fourth of a bottle of conditioner. Tere Lynn can't wash it in the shower because the hair gets so heavy that she falls over.
