GARY GELFAND!
If you've been watching Good Day for a while; and everyday I meet people and new friends who say "I grew up watching," or "My kids were raised watching you guys," then you'll remember Gary Gelfand.
He's one of my best friends, and now he needs some help.
I've copied the following from, and you can reach out to him on:

Here's the deal. Gary Gelfand went to the hospital for flu like symptoms that wouldn't go away and less than 24 hours later he was in the hospital getting the highest dose of chemotherapy a human can take. He has Acute Myelogenous Leukemia, one of the most relentless and aggressive of the adult leukemias.
But we all know Gary, and we know he will win this battle. He will be fighting the fight for the next few months. He has been in the hospital since mid April, and likely months away from coming home.
This major medical event would be devastating for anyone and for our friend Gary it has come at the worst possible time. He loves this town, and has chaired and hosted countless efforts for dozens of local causes. Now is our chance to help him. Give what you can; everything counts in large amounts."
