Robot Rumble
The Thrill of Robot Rumble returns to Sac State this weekend! Sac State's annual Robot Rumble, presented by Competitive Robotics, is an event that includes Battle Bot Tournament, where pairs of the student-built, remote-controlled "antweight" robots - about six inches tall and weighing no more than 1 pound - face off in a glass-walled arena. Students will try to flip and smash the competition, and audience members can join in by using the arena's built-in flippers to tip battling robots.

Christopher's Musical Marionettes
Today we are getting a special performance from Christopher's Musical Marionettes!!! Owner Chris Oates began making puppets and doing shows with his class when he was a second grade schoolteacher. After 16 years of teaching he decided to make a career switch and become a marionette puppeteer. Marionettes have always intrigued him, so he started with two puppets and has evolved from there, he now has over a dozen puppets and enjoys performing in all sorts of venues from b-day parties to senior living, fairs, festivals and one of his favorite spots the boardwalk in Old Sacramento!!
