The Sacramento Cyclocross is a race where bicycle racers do laps on a 2 mile course through Old Sacramento and on the American River Bike Trail. Racers will ride on grass, pavement, the wooden boardwalk, over barriers... and more! Whether you're new to the sport of cyclocross or have been racing for years, this is a unique venue that promises to be tons of fun!

Today people have the opportunity to make buttons! Yes, buttons at a fancy button making workshop! Button maker Mollie Freeman is a weaver and surface designer who will instruct students on making custom buttons using molds and polymer clay. Students can make molds from their own antique or odd buttons and molds and colored polymer clay to create buttons!

Hands On History: Trappers Trades And Treaties
As part of a special and continuing interactive program happening on the third Saturday of each month, Sutter's Fort State Historic Park is presenting a special "Hands on History: Trappers, Trades, and Treaties" event. Today, people can go to the Fort and take a step back in time to the 1840s to learn why trappers were considered "jacks of many trades" and experience how they lived, worked, explored new territory and traded with local Native Americans.
