Review: Hello W Hollywood!

For someone who says she hates Los Angeles, I'm sure spending a lot of time there! My least favorite city in the world is quickly becoming one of my "must-do destinations" thanks in large part to the W Hollywood hotel. This little gem is reason enough to venture down to La-La Land! Even if you despise the LA mega scene, you will still enjoy and eventually become obsessed with the W Hollywood. The hotel is located smack-dab in the middle of it ALL at the intersection of Hollywood and Vine, under the shadow of the iconic Hollywood Sign. Walk outside the entrance and you'll find yourself surrounded by stars living and dead who've been immortalized in the Hollywood Walk of Fame! As if that wasn't enough, located directly across the street is the original Pantages Theatre, which hosted the Academy Awards in the early '50s!!

But the real highlights are located INSIDE the hotel! The lobby is dripping with luxury décor. From the oversized, sparkling chandelier to the eye-catching accents, even the giant spiraling staircase, the W Hollywood entrance is a work of decorative art. The hotel staff also does a superb job of making every guest feel like a VIP with their "your wish is my command" attitude. The room didn't disappoint either and was exactly what I now expect from a W hotel – sleek and modern but still comfortable and inviting. I first noticed the bed with its cloud-like appearance and inviting sheets (which felt even better than they looked). I could definitely sleep the day away if my room didn't have such an inviting view of the Hollywood Sign (topped only by the view from the hotel's rooftop pool)! There are no words to describe this Heaven on Earth, it's something you truly need to experience for yourself. The W Hollywood Wet Deck resembles a night club at all times of day. The place is buzzing for those interested in mingling and "cocktailing" but is also a great place to lounge for those more interested in escaping!

And if I haven't sold you on the W Hollywood yet, let's discuss the incredible EDIBLE options both inside and around the hotel. There's definitely something to entice every type of eater! If you're feeling lazy, Delphine is literally just an elevator ride away. The restaurant and bar is a favorite amongst locals and guests alike, boasting menus inspired by fresh, organic ingredients. I was lucky enough to experience Delphine's brunch! Let me tell you – the Omelet with Fine Herbs is delectable and a quick cure to any hangover (trust me from experience). I also tried the Brioche French Toast which is definitely not to be missed!

Honestly, I could go on and on but I will spare you the wordy review. If you are in the LA area and in need of some serious R&R, book a stay at W Hollywood. You will be glad you did.
