Make A Difference For Mariah
Tomorrow the community of Elk Grove will come together to Help One-Year-Old in Need of New Heart Fundraiser at the Falls Event Center to bring for Mariah and her family! At nine months old, Mariah was diagnosed with RCM, a rare heart disease in which the walls of the lower chambers of the heart are rigid, and the heart is restricted from stretching and filling with blood properly. With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure. COTA's free event at the Falls Event Center will help raise money to support one of Elk Grove's tiniest residents and 100% of the proceeds raised will be donated to the COTA in honor of the one-year-old as she continues her battle with restrictive cardiomyopathy.
