Video Captured Of Dallas H.S. Student Allegedly Attacking Teacher

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A student from Skyline High School in Dallas has been arrested for allegedly attacking a teacher in the classroom.
According to CBS 11 News sources, the 16-year-old female student was in class with other students and was giving a presentation. At some point, the student allegedly became angry when the teacher tried to correct her.
The teenager is said to have confronted the teacher and then threw a punch. The teacher hit the student back and the two began fighting.
A student in the classroom allegedly captured video of the incident and posted it on social media Thursday.

Neither the teacher nor student have been identified.
The teacher says she plans to press charges.
Officials with the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) issued the following statement -
"Today, a teacher at Skyline High School suffered minor injuries after being assaulted by a student. Violence is not tolerated in our schools and the student will face consequences in accordance with our Student Code of Conduct. Out of respect for privacy laws relating to both employee matters and student discipline, Dallas ISD will have no further comment on the matter."
