Tropical Storm Isaac Affecting Travelers In North Texas

DALLAS/FORT WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CBS 11 NEWS) - Janice Fajobi is trying to get back to her home in Lafayette, Louisiana. With southern Louisiana under threat, it is not the best time to be traveling that way.

Fajobi came to Dallas to visit her daughter who is also from Louisiana.

"It's a little concerning because we were involved with Katrina that was a scary situation," said Fajobi's daughter Tonya Brooks.

Fajobi is traveling by bus and her route to Louisiana makes its first stop in Houston. She is worried her bus out of Houston may get cancelled if Isaac gets any stronger.

"Would I just stay there or what? What would I do?" Fajobi said.

Not only are there concerns for bus passengers, travelers hoping to get in or out of New Orleans by train are out of luck. Amtrak says it has cancelled all routes to the Crescent City until further notice.

At Dallas Love Field, Southwest has cancelled all flights to New Orleans for Tuesday.

Two flights to New Orleans were cancelled Monday at DFW International Airport.
