MEMORIAL DAY PHOTOS
We asked viewers to help us honor those who are serving our country, have served this country, and have paid the ultimate price defending our freedom.
Schari Bibb sent this photo of her son, Marine Corporal Schyuler Bibb from Rowlett, paying respects at the Texas Vietnam war memorial at Fair Park.
Doris Kalish sent this picture of her son Marine Sgt. Kenny Kalish. Kenny, who lost his legs and an arm, fighting for our country will be getting a new home in Cedar Hill in about a month thanks to Operation Finally Home.
#YESALLWOMEN
If you have spent anytime on social media over the past two days, you may have noticed the #yesallwomen.
It started in response to the Santa Barbara shooter's hatred and violence toward women spelled out in his YouTube videos and written manifesto.
Since Saturday, more than a million tweets with #yesallwomen have been sent from all over the world.
The hashtag has sparked a conversation among women about fear, harassment, and sexual assault.
KIDS & COMPUTERS
For many kids, it's hard to believe a world where a computer wasn't portable.
Young kids have no idea what a world without computers is like, and they don't know too much about using old computers either.
Kids from six to 13-years-old were walked through how to use a nearly forty-year-old computer.
They learned how to do everything from turning it on to inserting a floppy disk to playing a game.
