TCU Alum Hopes To Win Season 33 Of "Survivor"

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) – Season 33 of this CBS show "Survivor" premieres tonight, and a North Texan is hoping she's the lone survivor.

This season the theme is Millenials vs. Generation X.

Michaela Bradshaw, 25, is on team Millenials and spoke to CBS11 about what it was like to be on the show.

"You want to beat the Gen X'ers so bad, but on the other hand it's like 'awe you're like my mom,' " said Bradshaw about the battle between the Millenials and the Generation X'ers.

She said the toughest part of the entire game was dealing with the alliances that were formed, adding it was hard "having to be mentality alert all the time because you are suspicious of everyone."

This season the castaways were taken to Fiji.

A gorgeous setting said Bradshaw that was no vacation.

"Fiji was beautiful... it would have been better if we would have had food," she said.

Bradshaw is a Texas Christian University graduate who worked at the university as an admissions counselor before deciding to quit her job and audition for the reality game show.

"I said 'hey how about I try something that is completely different and that is going to challenge me?' "

Bradshaw was mum about how long she lasts on the show, but did offer some insight suggesting, "I guess I'll say I plan on being on TV for a while."
