PARKER COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) -- A mother and her three-year-old son were killed after a trailer home burned to the ground on Monday morning in Parker County.

The fire occurred in the Lake Country Acres area in southern Parker County just before 9 a.m.

The victim of the fire was identified as 27-year-old Amber Donahue by a family member.

In all, eight different fire departments were called in to assist with the blaze. The Tarrant County Arson Task Force is helping with the investigation.

Units from Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene first. As they approached the fire, an individual began attacking one of the firefighters, according to the Parker County Sheriff's Department. That suspect was arrested.

The Parker County Fire Marshal disputed the account, saying the husband/father of the victims had to be restrained from entering the burning trailer. In the process, a firefighter was knocked to the ground.

"He called his grandmother in Fort Worth. He said 'MiMi there's been a house fire. Amber and the baby are gone. You're all I got now.' That's what she said," according to Donahue's father.

An elderly man was killed in a trailer fire on the same large property in August. Fire Marshal George Teague says there was a dispute over the will of the man killed in the August fire. He says the investigation is complicated by lots of automobile and automobile refurbishment equipment near the fire site, including possibly gasoline.
