Royse City Deals With Citywide Power Outage After 18-Wheeler Hit Transmission Line
ROYSE CITY, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Royse City experienced a citywide power outage after an 18-wheeler hit a major transmission line, police said.
Crews could be seen working near Interstate-30 and Erby Campbell Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
About an hour after police reported the citywide outage, Oncor told CBS 11 News that power was able to be restored but that the lines will take awhile to fix.
Further details on the crash were not immediately released.
