DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, which has two restaurants and dozens of crewmembers in the areas affected by deadly tornadoes, is working with a local church to assist in the massive relief effort.

On Wednesday, Dec. 30, Raising Cane's restaurants in Rowlett and Rockwall will donate 100-percent of sales from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. to the First United Methodist Church of Rowlett, which is actively organizing relief efforts in the Rowlett and Garland communities.

The company says all funds raised will go directly to assisting those who have been displaced or negatively affected by the tornadoes.

In addition, all 33 Raising Cane's restaurants throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market will be accepting donations through Wednesday, Jan. 6. These funds will also be donated to First United Methodist of Rowlett. No purchase is necessary.

"We've all seen the incredible destruction this weekend's storms left behind in our neighborhoods and communities, and we know many people are in need of immediate help," said Rowlett General Manager Mike Ivy. "We hope everyone will come by on Wednesday, whether they want a chicken finger meal or not, and help us raise money to assist the relief efforts."

The two restaurants participating in Wednesday's fundraising effort are located at the following addresses:
4509 Lakeview Parkway, Rowlett
1114 Interstate 30, Rockwall

"Each of our crewmembers here in Rockwall knows someone affected by these deadly tornadoes, so it's personal to us," said General Manager Jeff Grabowski of the Rockwall restaurant. "Our neighbors need us, and we want them to know we're here for them."
