Missing 95-Year-Old From Little Elm Found Safe In Oklahoma

LITTLE ELM (CBSDFW.COM) - The call went our Sunday night; a 95-year-old man from Little Elm was missing. After retail surveillance photos and attempts to identify a "person of interest" Mr. Joe Farris has been found hundreds of miles from home.

According to the Little El Police department, it was around midnight when Farris was found at his grandson's home in Edmond, Oklahoma. There's little information about how the elderly man got from Texas to Oklahoma, but police said he's fine.

It was just hours earlier that police had been asking for the public's help finding Farris and another man -- they had both been seen at a local Walmart store.

Farris was first reported missing Sunday afternoon after he waled away from his home on Crystal Lake Drive.
