Pic of Arlington Police Officer & Daughter Goes Viral

ARLINGTON, TX (CBSDFW.COM) -- A picture released by the Arlington Police Department on their Facebook and Twitter accounts has gone viral.

The image shows an Arlington Police Shift Sergeant giving his young daughter a kiss after her dance class.

According to the Facebook post, the officer's daughter wanted a "special picture with her daddy at work while she wore her 'uniform' which is her leotard, tights and frilly skirt for dance. She was so excited to see him. She quickly ran up to him and stood on her tippy toes to give him a big kiss!"

The Arlington PD released the image Monday morning.

Earlier this month an image of an Alabama officer also went viral. It showed him comforting a child after a bad car accident.
