CLEBURNE (AP) - A North Texas man already sentenced to life in prison without parole for one killing has received the same penalty for a second slaying.

Jose Clemente Ramos Jr. on Aug. 7 pleaded guilty to capital murder in the 2010 slaying of deliveryman Ruben Martinez. The victim was shot outside a Fort Worth convenience store.

Ramos on Friday pleaded guilty in Cleburne to capital murder in the robbery and slaying of Nancy Weatherly of Godley. She was attacked in her home during a robbery a few hours after the first killing.

Prosecutors say Ramos and Mark Anthony Soliz were friends who went on the crime spree. Soliz earlier this year was convicted and sentenced to death in Weatherly's slaying.

Ramos also pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, burglary and deadly conduct.
