One Person Killed, 2 Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (CBSDFW.COM) - One person is dead and two others are recovering in the hospital after a three-vehicle collision happened in North Richland Hills on Tuesday night.

Investigators said the driver of a 2016 Chevy Cruz edged out into traffic along Boulevard 26 and collided with a Ford F-150. The Chevy Cruz smashed into a nearby wall. The truck collided with another vehicle.

Two occupants inside the Chevy Cruz were taken to the hospital, the third occupant died at the scene.

Witnesses who heard the collision and said they saw smoke and flames shortly after the wreck.

"Your life is more valuable than a few second of your time," said Officer Keith Bauman with North Richland Hills Police.

The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
