Couple Found Murdered In Arlington Apartment

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – Police are asking for the public's help in finding who killed a married couple in their apartment this weekend.

Arlington Police Department spokesman Sgt. Christopher Cook said a man and a woman aged between sixty and seventy were found murdered after a family member called 911 upon seeing a window open at their apartment Sunday morning.

When police arrived at the residence in the 3600 block of Waverly Drive, they found the two dead inside and began investigating the crime as a homicide. The cause of death is pending an autopsy, Cook said.

The names of the victims have not been released. Late Sunday, Oak Farms issued a $10,ooo reward for information that leads to a conviction.
