WhoFest 3 is happening at the Westin DFW Airport Hotel Friday through Sunday (April 22-24). No. It is not the band. It is the legendary BBC science fiction series Doctor Who. The guy my little brother geeked out over back in the day while he wore that jacked up scarf.

The 5th Annual Wade's Weekend is set for Friday through Sunday (April 22-24). 12-year NFL veteran and former Houston Texans Pro Bowler, Wade Smith is returning to his home city, Dallas, Texas, to host the event. The Dallas Comic Show is Saturday and Sunday (April 23-24) at the Richardson Convention Center. This deal is a family-friendly event featuring comic book and media guests, costumed characters, gaming and Anime content. They say their mission is to bring back an affordable pop culture convention experience to the DFW area, without breaking the bank. You know why I am excited? Because Sam Jones will be there…you know…the guy who played Flash Gordon in that awesome 1980 movie that had a soundtrack by Queen…which means I can play "Flash" right now.
