HUNT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - Police have arrested a former Quinlan Independent School District teacher for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student.
Police arrested Bradley Lewis, a former teacher and coach for the district, on October 26. Lewis is accused of having the relationship with the female Ford High School student during the 2013-2014 school year.
Lewis left the district in 2014 after accepting a position as a police officer in the City of Terrell. The 35-year-old resigned from that job during the investigation into the sexual assault.
Lewis is facing charges for Sexual Assault of a Child and Improper Relationship Between an Educator and Student. His bond has been set at $300,000.
