Dallas Police Northeast Patrol Station Evacuated As Precaution After Cleaning Crew Finds Suspicious Package
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A cleaning crew member at the Dallas Police Department's Northeast Patrol Station found a suspicious package in the public area of the station and reported it to officers on Thursday afternoon, Sept 9.
Everyone was evacuated from the facility as a precaution and the Explosive Ordinance Division was notified.
EOD arrived on the scene to assess the situation.
EOD determined it was a motor from a vacuum cleaner.
There were no notes left or threats made regarding it being there.
