DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Dallas are searching for the person/persons who opened fire on a man and woman while they sat in a parked car along Mixon Drive.

It was just after sunset on February 10, 2019 when someone approached the car and shot Amelia Hernandez-Orozco, and 39-year-old Saul Baeza Sanchez.

Dallas Fire and Rescue was called to the scene but pronounced Hernandez-Orozco, 46, dead at the scene. Sanchez was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. His condition isn't known.

Investigators have no description of the suspect/suspects and are asking for help from the public. Dallas police are asking that anyone who has information about the shooting that took place in the 9300 block of Mixon to contact the Homicide Unit at 214-671-3684, or click here to send an email.
