Cleveland Browns Officially Waive Johnny Manziel

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN/AP) - We knew it was bound to happen. Johnny Manziel is no longer a Cleveland Brown.
After two disappointing seasons, the Browns announced Friday that they have official waived the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner and former Aggie QB.
A tweet sent Friday morning from the Browns official account stated:
"Manziel appeared in 14 games with eight starts after being selected by the Browns in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He completed 147 of 258 passes for 1,675 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. He added 259 rushing yards and one score. Last season, Manziel started six games and threw for 1,500 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions, while adding 230 rushing yards."
The news release from the Browns stated nothing about how disappointed they were with Manziel's attitude or hard-partying ways, even after standing by him during a brief stint in rehab.
Manziel now faces an uncertain future in the NFL with potential criminal charges in Texas following a domestic violence incident still haunting him.
From The Fan's Dallas Cowboys insider Mike Fisher, it looks like Manziel will find no home to play football in Dallas.
When not claimed on waivers, Manziel will become an unrestricted free agent at 3:00 pm Monday.
