Body Of Woman Found In Dallas Apartment

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old woman was found dead in a North Dallas apartment.
At about 2:16 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a call regarding a burglary of a residence at 5801 Preston Oaks Road.
A witness who was planning to help 20-year-old Erika Mong move some furniture called police after efforts to contact her went unanswered.
Police made a forced entry into the apartment and found the deceased female.
According to authorities the woman died of an apparent gunshot wound.
