ACA insurers propose steep premium price hikes

Those who purchase health insurance through options provided under the Affordable Care Act will find that premiums are set to increase by an average 15% for 2026. At the same time, a law that now that gives people a tax credits to help pay their premiums will expire at the end of the year, making the out-of-pocket costs even more noticeable.
