Police say the 45-year-old victim was shot after the suspect nearly hit him with his car while he was riding a bike with his friend.
Two men were seen running away from the house after the victim was shot, and got into a black Pontiac G6 to flee the scene.
The two suspects have been arrested. They stole the student's cell phone and tried to steal her purse but were unsuccessful.
Terrell Kenyon Jr. has been missing since 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. His father spoke with WWJ Newsradio 950 looking for the public's help.
