Woman Speeds Away Dragging Cop Accidently Hooked On Car
DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit police officer is in the hospital after he was dragged by a car on the city's west side.
Police say the officer - who was investigating reports of a stolen car - stopped a woman on Paul near the Southfield Freeway.
Police say the officer was somehow hooked onto the car as she sped off. The officer then hit a tree that was too close to the car.
He suffered some injuries, but is expected to be okay.
The woman was arrested in a different location.
