Wanted: Man Seen Standing Over Sleeping Children's Beds In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are looking for a man wanted for a series of remarkably creepy crimes.

Crime Stoppers is now offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of this person who has been breaking into homes, standing over children's beds and looking at them.

There have been numerous reports from people living on Hasse Street, in the area of 7 Mile Road and Ryan, of these home invasions.

According to multiple victims, the suspect doesn't steal anything or physically harm anyone in the house. He only stand there and observes the sleeping children, Crime Stoppers says.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 35 years old and 145 lbs. with brown skin, a medium build and "short beady hair."

Police at this time are not sure if the same person was involved in all of the reported incidents. They have not discussed a possible motive for these crimes.
