Release Date Set For "Marvel's The Avengers"

HOLLYWOOD (WWJ) - Yes, I know it's early.  Two years early, in fact.  But, not to early to start thinking about the highly-anticipated sequel to Marvel Studios' blockbuster "Captain America: The First Avenger."

The sequel to "Marvel's The Avengers" picks up where the first film left off, with Steve Rogers continuing his affiliation with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D, and struggling to accept his role in the modern world.

The Walt Disney Studios says "Marvel's The Avengers" will be released on April 4, 2014.  Yes, 2014!  But, hey, it takes time to produce a film that'll live up to to the hype!

So, take a deep breath, relax and I'll see you at the movies!
